9/11/2001

I was in fifth grade sitting on the floor in my Science class with Mr. Theiler. He turned the T.V on and for the entire class period we watched the news about the planes crashing into the Twin Towers. I didn't truly understand what was going on. I didn't know it was an act on terror but I knew it was bad. A part of me felt sorrow and grief for those that lost their lives and for the families and friends of them, but another part of me brushed it off like it was no big deal.

Now, 10 years later this war that we're going through means a whole lot to me. Not only do I support the war, but I support each and every soldier and vet that has put their life on the line to keep our country SAFE and FREE. We WOULD NOT be the country we are today without them. We have a lot to be grateful for.

So, as 09/11/2011 approaches, take time to thank the soliders and remember those who've sacrificed and who've paid the ultimate price: life.

Keep those families in your prayers who've lost loved ones due to the attack on the Twin Towers and these wars we're fighting right now.

God bless the U.S.A!
